Pool Area Transformation & Jacuzzi Integration

This project focuses on the renovation of the existing pool area at Villa Vista, aiming to elevate the outdoor space into a more refined and functional leisure environment.

The primary challenge was to upgrade the existing swimming pool area while introducing a new jacuzzi positioned above the existing pump room, which posed a significant spatial and technical constraint.

Design Strategy

The design approach centers on transforming constraints into opportunities.
The pump room—originally a purely technical element—has been reinterpreted and integrated into the user experience by placing the jacuzzi above it.

• Apply space optimization without increasing the overall footprint
• Conceal the pump system beneath the usable space in a seamless manner
• Use level transitions to create spatial hierarchy and privacy

Key Design Elements

• The jacuzzi is designed as the highlight feature of the pool area
• Harmonized material palette across the entire outdoor space
• Clear transition between pool, jacuzzi, and relaxation zones
• Careful consideration of maintenance access to the pump room

Outcome

The renovation transforms the existing pool area into a more dynamic and layered environment.
The jacuzzi is not merely an added function, but a key architectural element that enhances both the spatial quality and overall value of the project.
